My Idea on Land is to buy a house/apartment with 100-150 sq yard is more than enough. Thanks to the technology we don't need multiple person for preparing food(swiggy) and cleaning, maintaining the house. We can use robotic mop to clean the house, dish washer and washing machine. The AC requirement is very low for small spaces. Thus you can lead a comfortable life alone with peace of mind.

All a middle class man who is not born with golden spoon and high IQ IIT brain thinks of is to own a house of his own at some point. India has very less amount of land and 1.3 billion people are striving for small piece of land makes it valuable and scare resource. The dream of owning a house has become a dream.

3.287 million sq km land / 1.3 billion people
                                            = 0.00252846153 sq km/person
                                            = 2528.46153 sq mts

With in this land 2528.46153 sq mts a have to grow food, work, live and shit. Out of which 45% of land is not accessible or restricted to buy because of many articles in states like Article 371 – Maharashtra and Gujarat, Article 371A – Nagaland, Article 371B – Assam, Article 371C – Manipur, Article 371D & E – Andhra Pradesh, Article 371F – Sikkim, Article 371G – Mizoram, Article 371H – Arunachal Pradesh, Article 371I – Goa and many of them are reserved for industrial and factory purposes, military monuments and industrial purposes.  Finally you are left with 1000 sq mtrs / person. 

On top of that water scarcity is a greater boon for India as water supply connection is not connected for remote areas and villages properly. There is boom for real estate that makes all the materials required for constructing a house is 100 times pricier than its worth due to scarcity such as sand, iron, steel, concrete and cement. If you take any country as example you can get a decent land or property with just 10 to 12 months of salary. But in India salaries are pennies, rents are too high and are these salaries sufficient to the daily needs of a person; except for few provision IT people. If the population increases at this rate future of India should rely on other countries for food resources.

If you own a family you have to arrange these provisions to all of them. Its better to stay single if you are un married. Materialistic life becomes our goal to keep up the pace in society. We will be fighting our entire life for something in the end which it is never ours. If in case there is a divorce children and partner take away this wealth from you by force.
