Showing off our phone to others days are over. Smart buyers are the new show off. People look at the way you present yourself and the way you behave. Having an IPhone or costly gadgets and having a bad character and poor way of thinking never accomplishes anything. We buy smart phone everytime they lag and yes it is the best option than going for repair and then again roaming for it. I agree but buying them to keep update is not good for environment also.
But buying a premium smart phone or a mid range smart phone and then searching web for the best smartphone and comparision is a waste of time. Please don't even talk about apple where it's phones are sold at twice the price in India than the other parts of world.
I have a better way of saving both time and money. I believe one better camera is all we need a low medium range or budget range is sufficient. Both are not available at the same time. This puts us in premium mid range smart phone.
I prefer buying a good gopro for a lifetime use and primary camera use. It has many uses best one time camera, Hassle free use, clear clarity pictures, no need for tripod, less shaky pics, can be used remotely. This removes us from premium segment and we can now buy a budget range smart phone which is less than 10,000 and obviously with exchange we can reach much lower price. Budget phone are nothing but last year midrange smart phone.
